From farms to rentals, Texas office does it all
"Small Market"

With 940 closed transaction sides, RE/MAX metro properties was the top office in a small market in 1999.

Since converting his independent office to RE/MAX in 1995, Broker/Owner Tim Teas has grown from 8 agents to 50 and a market share of more than 14%.  RE/MAX enjoyed top market share in Corpus Christi until the two top competitors merged this year.

"Even after the merger, we're still neck and neck," Teas says.  "And we're growing much faster than our competitors;"

Teas says the office thrives on the diverse array of business.

"We work with corporate relocations, military, rentals, farms and ranch properties," he says.  "We also have a diverse agent population that can converse fluently in Spanish, Thai, Chinese, German and Hungarian.  This gives us a huge advantage among ethnic groups in our community."

Teas also has a knack for marketing his office in the community.  His four-wheel drive truck is decked out in RE/MAX colors and many of the agents plan to join in the upcoming cancer Walk for Life drive.  Teas also has developed a partnership with a local elementary school (Click here for more information).
